Following full-time PhD courses are being currently offered: Linguistics and Phonetics English Language Education Hindi Indian and World Literatures English Literature Cultural Studies Film Studies and Visual Culture Comparative Literature Translation Studies Aesthetics and Philosophy Media and Communication Arabic Language and Literature French Language and Literature Russian Language and Literature German Language and Literature Spanish Language and Literature Eligibility The eligibility for different PhD programmes is different. Master of Arts According to the latest prospectus 2020-2021 by the English and Foreign Languages University, there are a number of postgraduate courses which are being offered. Following full-time MA courses are being currently offered: English English Literature Literatures in English Comparative Literature Linguistics English Language Teaching Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) Hindi Computational Linguistics Arabic Language and Literature French Language and Literature German Language and Literature Hispanic Language and Literature Russian Language and Literature Eligibility To be eligible to apply for the above courses the candidate must: Pass in the Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 55% marks for general/OBC candidates, and 50% marks for SC/ST category candidates  OR Pursuing the qualifying programme mentioned above (provided the candidate will have passed the examination by the time of the admission and has scored the minimum eligibilit

Following full-time courses are being currently offered: B.A. (Hons.) English B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) B.A. (Hons.) Arabic B.A. (Hons.) French B.A. (Hons.) German B.A. (Hons.) Japanese B.A. (Hons.) Russian B.A. (Hons.) Spanish Eligibility To be eligible to apply for the above courses the candidate must: Pass in the Intermediate/10+2 examination or its equivalent, with 50% marks for general/OBC candidates, and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates, with English as one of the subjects.
